CANCER IN THE MALE BREAST
Breast cancer in men has contributed to 2.77% of all cancer cases in the country, according to the Consolidated Report on Population-Based Cancer Registries of the Indian Medical Research Council.
Like breast cancer in women, breast cancer in men is the uncontrolled growth of cells in this breast tissue. Anyone with breast tissue is at risk of developing male breast cancer.
This happens most often in men between the ages of 60 and 70, although the condition can develop in men of any age. Breast cancer is 100 times more common in women than in men.

The causes of male breast cancer are not fully understood, but both environmental influences and hereditary factors play a role in its development.
Breast cancer in men usually causes a lump or mass in the left breast.
Risk factors include:
-Exposure to ionizing radiation is associated with increased risk.
– High estrogen levels.
– This often happens between the ages of 60 and 70.
Signs and symptoms:
Like most diseases, male breast cancer has some symptoms and signs that are more common than others:
-You see that lump in the breast and changes in the nipple.
-Grain collection.
-Serous or bloody discharge from the nipples is unusual.
-Un ulcers or skin.
-Fixing to the skin or underlying muscle.
-Tumor sensitivity and palpable axillary nodes.
– Wounds on the nipple and areola (the small flower ring around the center of the nipple)
